About Cedar Hill
Nestled in the foothills of Georgia's Blue Ridge Mountains, Cedar Hill is located about one hour north of metro Atlanta. It encompasses 18 acres of woodland with a native plant walking tour, pastures, gardens, retreat and overnight facilities and an outdoor labyrinth. The setting is simple and unpretentious, offering a place for reflection and solitude.
The renovated barn offers a gracious gathering space for up to 30 people. Massage rooms and a full kitchen where vegetarian meals are prepared for guests are located in the barn. Guest quarters and a lending library are located in the renovated farmhouse.

About The Cedar Hill Logo
From the earliest times in recorded history the cedar has been considered a sacred tree. It has been a symbol of peace, anointing, perfect faith and preservation. Evergreen is a reminder of everlasting life. The Cherokee people who once inhabited these hills of North Georgia used cedar in their sacred ceremonies. The tree was a symbol of ancient wisdom. Both the bark and leaf symbolize strength, nurturing, cleansing and purification.
In Cedar Hill's logo, the curved lines represent the hill upon which the cedar trees stand. The shorter line on the left symbolizes the letting go of old hurts and fears that block our spiritual growth. The larger line on the right symbolizes that great leap forward in faith. Looking carefully at the touching trees, you might detect the "dance of the spirits."
