The Cedar Hill Barn

The Cedar Hill Barn offers a gracious gathering or dining space for up to 30 people. Perfect for full day and weekend retreats, this facility houses everything a larger group needs to gather comfortably for short or longer presentations or meetings. Vegetarian meals are frequently prepared and served for guests by the Cedar Hill staff from the full kitchen that is located in the barn. This facility is additionally equipped with three bathrooms, a massage room, and an art studio.

Cedar Hill Barn Rental Rates:
Group/Corporate Retreats (Example): A group of 8 with overnight accommodations, meals and use of facility - $1,200.00 (Includes Friday evening, all day Saturday, Sunday until 1:00pm.) Please inquire for a customized package for your group.

Our Spacious Guest Rooms

Our Spacious Guest Rooms are located in the Guesthouse. Although simplicity reigns supreme at Cedar Hill, each room comes fully furnished with two twin beds, bed & bath linens, rocking chair, picture window, regional framed artwork, gracious lighting, fresh flowers or herbs, writing desk with chair, closet and dresser with mirror. The Guesthouse can sleep as many as five people: two bedrooms with twin beds and one single room.

Guesthouse Room Rental Rates:
Single Occupancy: $35 (Mon. - Th.) / $40 (Fri. - Sun.)
Double Occupancy: $25 (Mon. - Th.) / $30 (Fri. - Sun.)
Weekly Rental Rate: $240.00
All linens provided. The Guesthouse Kitchen is available for guest use. Guests must supply their own food unless prior arrangements have been made.

The Guesthouse Kitchen

The Guesthouse Kitchen functions as a full-service food preparation and eating area and comes complete with a full size refrigerator, stove, oven & microwave. The adjoining dining area seats up to 8 people comfortably. Enjoy the warmth of this bright,country style kitchen on your next retreat.

The Guesthouse also houses the Cedar Hill Administrative Office and the Cedar Hill Library:

Our Lending Library

Our Extensive Lending Library is located in the Guesthousewhere readers can comfortably enjoy a diverse array of reading, listening, and viewing materials while sitting in the bright, airy lounge or on the private front porch. Titles include deep selections in Women's Studies, Meditation and Spirituality, Earth and Ecology, Environmental Studies, and World Religions, among many other topics.

The Retreat Trailer

The Snug Single or Double Occupancy Retreat Trailer is located far enough away from the main Guesthouse to be private, but near enough to take advantage of Cedar Hill's extensive facilities. The Retreat Trailer is propane heated and features running water and a full complement of kitchen conveniences. A small garden and hammock beckon just out the front door. Great for the extended artist's or writer's retreat!

Woodland Cottages

Folded gently into the heart of Cedar Hill's 18 acre campusare our Two Single Occupancy Woodland Cottages. Each cottage comes fully equipped with its own water supply, a kitchenette, a composting toilet, a single bed, a desk, and yes, electricity. The secluded, serene woodland cottages are ideally suited to a weekend of solitude and a return to nature.

Woodland Cottage Rental Rates:
Single Occupancy: $20(Mon.-Th.)/ $25(Fri.-Sun.)
Weekly Rental Rate: $165.00
All linens and kitchenette provided. Guests must supply their own food unless prior arrangements have been made. Shower available in Guesthouse or Gathering Facility. Guests must sign a waiver for insurance purposes.

The Sister Chapel

Tucked in the woods below the labyrinth rests The Sister Chapel, a graceful gazebo facing the East. On small tables in the center of the Chapel are statues of holy women from all over the world, images of the Divine Feminine. While sitting on the circular bench facing the beautiful statues, visitors find this serene space a welcome site for meditation, contemplation and journaling. A copy of “Prayers and Seven Contemplations of the Sacred Mother” calls one to be embraced by the beauty of the woods.

The Serenity Fountain

Gifted to Cedar Hill by a generous donor, The Serenity Fountain calls you to "sit a spell" and enjoy the mesmerizing sounds of water and nature. The fountain represents the four elements of fire, water, metal and earth - beginning with the candle (fire) sitting atop the fountain (water) and ending with the water traveling through the copper structure (metal) into the earth which embraces the entire piece (earth). It is surrounded with native plants and turquoise stones, adding subtle color and texture to the view.
